Disabling Editing

  • You can disable web editing in the Page Editor for a field by using the sc:fld() XSL extension method instead of sc:field(). The select attribute is used to identify the item on which the control operates. The control operates on the context element when you do not specify a value for the select attribute.
  • You can also disable web editing in the Page Editor for a field by passing 'disable-web-editing=true' as a third parameter to sc:field().
