Installer Stops

Behavior: The installer stops responding

Issue: Failed installation

Solution:

  1. Reboot the machine
  2. Use the automated Sitecore installer if you were installing from a zip archive
  3. Invoke the installer again with the debugging options (Setup.exe /V"/log log.txt")
  4. If the problem persists, file a case in the Sitecore support portal providing screen shots and compressed log file
